Frequently Asked Questions

Does can packaging better preserve the aroma and properties?

Yes, the tin was chosen specifically to better protect the infusion. It has a double lid, a gold internal varnish, and a tight seal, which prevents light, air, and moisture from entering. This helps preserve the fresh aroma of the leaves and maintain their natural properties for much longer, even after opening. To guarantee this freshness, it's important to store the tin in a cool, dry place.

Are the plants of Portuguese origin and cultivated sustainably?

Whenever possible, we choose plants grown in Portugal, using sustainable and environmentally respectful agricultural practices. Pennyroyal and mint, for example, are typical ingredients of the Portuguese herbal tradition. This connection to local knowledge is one of the foundations of Teravitis; we want each infusion to reflect authenticity and quality.

How long does the can last after it's opened?

If stored properly, the infusion retains its quality for several months after opening. We recommend consuming it within 24 months of production, but most importantly, keep the can tightly closed, away from heat and moisture. This way, you'll be able to enjoy the blend with the same intensity from the first to the last cup.

Can I prepare this infusion cold, like iced tea?

Yes, this blend works beautifully as a cold infusion. Simply add 2 teaspoons to 200ml of room temperature water and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. The result is a fresh, caffeine-free, minty iced tea, ideal for hot days or as a light alternative to sugary drinks.
